It was a good turnout this past Saturday for our Southern Championship Tournament. 19 teams turned out for the third Yadkin Series at High Rock Lake. The weather was very comfortable in the early morning hours and got sunny hot later in the afternoon. Steve Sink and Robert Mixon won first place in the field with a 23.47 lb. bag. 2nd place was bagged by Tracy Adams and Chad Everhardt with a 21.39 lb. stringer. They also caught the big fish of the day with 6.33 pounder. Tony Waterhouse and Justin Goodyear took 3rd place with a 17.01 lb. bag. Some of the guys reported catching fish off the beds while most reported hooking pre-spawners. Thanks to all who joined us at the tounament. Can't wait to see you all next time!
